On July 1st Sheru W. Muuo gave a presentation and discussed how to design quality, impactful surveys that deliver for your organization and its members. These surveys are an important building block for implementing appropriate programs and services that deliver the highest return on investment for association members.
Sheru Wanyua Muuo is a researcher with over 10 years’ experience in project design, management and implementation including development of tools, data collection, analysis and dissemination. She has been involved in both cross-sectional and longitudinal data collection collecting qualitative and quantitative data from a wide range of settings i.e. from rural to urban areas, from slums to a refugee camp in Kenya. Sheru has worked or collaborated with both local and international organizations and is currently a Surveillance Officer with an NGO called Global Programs for Research and Training (GPRT) in Nairobi. She has a master’s in public health degree and is working on her PhD.
