Summary

This is the third of a four-part series emphasizing open access to place-based digital data as the basis for post-COVID revitalization efforts in Nepal. Part 1 introduced the need for greater efforts to foster open data sharing. Part 2 recognized the potential for access to open digital data to help enable individual Nepalis to direct their own development. Part 3 presents a bottom-up approach for building a digital data ecosystem focusing specially on land rights. Part 4 will conclude with an introduction to robotic aerial mapping as a tool for improving farm-level land information collection and use.
