Gender-based Violence in the Digital Environment an Analysis on Businesswomen and Female Workers

This survey report arises as a joint initiative of the Observatory for Women’s Equity (OEM) in Colombia and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). The objective of this research is to characterize gender-based violence online, with a particular emphasis on businesswomen and/or female workers from companies registered in the chambers of commerce of Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the nature and manifestations of gender-based violence in the digital environment, in order to propose policies that promote safe and equitable environments for all women in business and in the workforce.
