The Association of Entrepreneurs with Disabilities from the Republic of Moldova “European Abilities without Limits” (AEFL), in partnership with CIPE, released a report entitled Identification of Problems and Obstacles Faced by Women with Disabilities in Business. The report documents specific barriers faced by women with disabilities in Moldova when seeking employment, conducting business, and pursuing education.
The report summarizes the results of a questionnaire distributed by AEFL in 2023, which gathered perspectives from over 500 women with disabilities across Moldova. Based on the findings from the questionnaire, this report outlines key recommendations for the government and broader business community on how to foster an inclusive enabling environment for women with disabilities in business.
