The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and the National Democratic Institute (NDI), along with partners from Indonesia, Nigeria, and Taiwan, invite you to an in-person private dialogue on efforts to support youth and inclusive development.
We know that opportunities for young people to participate in decision-making are essential to fostering entrepreneurship, political engagement, and innovation. How can local and national institutions better support and include young people’s voices, especially those facing high barriers based on identity and other factors? What are the success stories of youth participation in civic spaces and the private sector?
Featured speakers include Almas Sjafrina from Indonesia Corruption Watch, Toki Mabogunje from the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Joy Lee from the Taiwan Youth Association for Democracy, CIPE Chairman Greg Lebedev, and NDI President Derek Mitchell. CIPE Policy and Program Learning Director Kim Bettcher will moderate. The panel will be conducted in English.
