Hailemelekot Asfaw, Country Director, CIPE East Africa, Gives Insights on Democracy and Commerce

Hailemelekot Asfaw, Country Director, East Africa Regional Office, was interviewed on Ethiopia’s Capital newspaper about CIPE’s  work on economic dialogue and inclusive growth in the country.

CIPE opened its East Africa regional office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2018. Since then, CIPE has supported more than 100 business membership and civil society organizations across Ethiopia. The office now hosts CIPE’s Civic Engagement Hub (CEH), an incubator, co-working space, and resource center for new and growing Ethiopian civil society organizations and civic-minded entrepreneurs.
