In Cambodia, CIPE and its local partner MangoTango Asia created a technology-facilitated gender-based violence and harassment (TFGBVH) glossary in Khmer to enhance private sector participation. Previously, CIPE funded research to understand the impact of TFGBVH on Cambodian women business owners and entrepreneurs. The research discovered that standardized vocabulary does not exist in Khmer to meaningfully discuss TFGBVH, thus prohibiting effective or participatory policy dialogue. Therefore, CIPE continued working with local partners to produce this vital resource to promote women’s economic empowerment and participation in the economy.
