The Trade Practice at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) provides technical expertise to simplify trade processes and leverages the private sector to help government agencies improve their operations, manage risk, and automate decisions.
CIPE’s specialists work with traders and governments to develop and implement bespoke solutions targeting non-tariff barriers and red tape. We enable companies of all sizes to access international markets in an efficient and safe manner, reduce the cost of trade, and support business growth.
CIPE is the technical lead and main project implementer of the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation, funded by the governments of Canada, Germany, and the United States.
