Welcome to the Tech for Democracy Online Course

Business membership organizations (BMOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play a crucial role in advocating democratic and market-oriented reforms needed to provide economic opportunities for all citizens. As technologies have become more affordable and accessible, BMOs and NGOs should leverage and use them as part of their advocacy processes. Furthermore, there are more low-bandwidth tools developed specifically for countries where connectivity remains a challenge.

To empower organizations to learn and use free or affordable tech tools for their work more efficiently and effectively, CIPE developed the Tech for Democracy Online Course, a tailored training curriculum on various capacity building topics. This interactive online training course has four modules: Monitoring and Evaluation, Polling and Surveying, Digital Security, and Strategic Communications.
