Barada Regmi is a Program Officer for the Asia and the Pacific at the Center for International Private Enterprise. She primarily works in CIPE programs that are focused on policy implementation, public administration reform, anti-corruption, and economic governance. In her current role, she provides programmatic support in implementing projects in her portfolio countries to strengthen democracy by working closely with local partners, including CSOs, think tanks, and business organizations. Prior to joining CIPE, she worked in various capacities in research-based projects on armed conflict, gender issues, and trafficking and migration. She holds a master’s degree in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University, New York and a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from Saint Cloud State University, Minnesota. Barada speaks English, Nepali, Hindi, and Urdu.
