Evan Shilling is an Associate Program Officer for South and Southeast Asia at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), where he manages and implements programs in Thailand, Indonesia, Timor Leste, and the Maldives. His portfolio’s projects are focused on anti-corruption, collective action programs, business integrity, and right to information practices.
Prior to joining CIPE, Evan interned with the Labor Protection Network in Samut Sakhon, Thailand, where he worked on Burmese migrant labor trafficking issues in the fishing sector as well as child protection. Evan also worked with the Washington DC-based NGO, Search for Common Ground, as their Asia Regional Support Team Intern, where he focused on peace and conflict transformation in Burma, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Evan holds a BA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution with a concentration in Global Engagement from George Mason University.
