Luiza Ayvazyan-Galanteryan is based in Yerevan, Armenia, and currently serves as CIPE’s Head of Office for Armenia. Luiza coordinates a range of projects in Armenia aimed at strengthening the capacity of Armenian business membership organizations to support and represent their members; building the capacity of businesses to enter digital markets; enhancing the role of the private sector in public policy decision-making, promoting healthy information space in Armenia. She also works with local stakeholders to promote good governance norms through anti-corruption compliance and corporate governance.
Luiza has more than 10 years of experience working in grants management and non-profit business development, and more than 15 years of experience in implementing and coordinating educational, anti-corruption, policymaking, and research projects for European, US and other international organizations. Prior to joining CIPE, Luiza was the Program Development Manager at the Eurasia Partnership Foundation. She also held positions at NDI as a Youth and Civic Programs Manager and the Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center as a Program Coordinator.
Luiza holds a master’s degree in international relations from the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University in Yerevan, Armenia. She also studied at the Yerevan School of Political Studies and at the Caucasus Media Institute, Department of Journalism.
