Mesay Tekalign is a Program Manager at the Center for International Private Enterprise East Africa Regional Office in Ethiopia.
Mesay is working on issues of the digital economy, regional integration, and peacebuilding. Before joining CIPE, Mesay worked with several local Non-Governmental Organizations focusing on health, community development, job creation, and environmental protection.
Mesay has a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management from Haramaya University and received his Master of Arts in Development Studies from Kimmage Development Studies Center. He is also a Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) training and ONE Champion East Africa fellow.
Mesay has strong skills and experience in project management, fundraising, partnership development, and monitoring and evaluation. He speaks English, Amharic, and Oromiffa.
