Natalia Otel Belan is Director of the Europe and Eurasia Division at the Center for International Private Enterprise. With over 20 years of experience, Otel Belan is leading a portfolio of programs on business advocacy, economic security, anti-corruption and business ethics, association management, corporate governance, women’s economic empowerment, and private sector role in enhancing accountability and transparency. CIPE’s programs strengthen the role of business associations, chambers of commerce, think tanks and other organizations in advancing market reforms and democratic governance.
Prior to CIPE, Otel Belan worked on rural economic development at the World Bank. She holds an MA degree in International Affairs from American University in Washington DC, and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute of Organization Management. Otel Belan is a native Romanian speaker and is fluent in Russian.
