Saudi Adem is an M&E Manager at the Center for International Private Enterprise East Africa Regional Office in Ethiopia. He works on monitoring and evaluation related objectives such as: establishing, maintaining, and using functional and effective M&E systems for every active project based on the donor requirements; ensuring every project’s adherence and implementation of CIPE – M&E Policy and Procedures; enhancing staffs’ partners’, and key stakeholders’ capacity building on M&E and DHIS2 data management platform.
Saudi spent more than 14 years working in different agencies. He’s worked in a government office and in both national and international non-governmental organizations including DCFCO, Child Fund Ethiopia, Pact Ethiopia, Save the Children International, GOAL Ethiopia, PSI Ethiopia, CARE Ethiopia and CRS Ethiopia. Saudi has 10 years of pure M&E related work experience and expertise in multi-agencies through multi-thematic emergency and humanitarian responses, development, and advocacy interventions.
Saudi has worked on integrated programs with multiple thematic interventions such as peace building, community economic strengthening programs, food security, agricultural technology transformation, livelihoods, health care and nutrition, education and vocational skill trainings, partners capacity building, WASH, DRR, value chain and market led development.
Saudi graduated from Addis Ababa University with BA degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology and has a master’s degree in Social Work from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
