Taryn Seigel is a Program Associate on the Latin America & Caribbean team at CIPE. She works on the Corrosive and Constructive Capital portfolio in the Southern Cone. Taryn is focused on how to combat the harmful effects of large influxes of authoritarian capital in emerging democracies. Prior to joining CIPE, she worked on issues of economic development, financial sustainability, and international humanitarian law. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Spanish.
